Sanskriti Center, is planning a series of lectures/workshops for adults and children at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Sanskriti Center is an Indian cultural institution based in Manhattan and dedicated to the children of the Tristate area. The lectures will be on Indian Art in various aspects and how art reflects the culture of its times.

Dr. Navina Haider, Associate Curator, Islamic Department will commence the series on March 2nd at 11 am. The lecture will be for an hour and will be followed by a presentation and discussion of original works of art from the Met collections.
